Uninstall Expert

Uninstall Expert is a system maintenance and optimization tool. It is an application that can be used to aid in application uninstallation process.

It lists all the programs that are currently installed on your computer, along with their developers names and paths. From this list, you can click on any application and either uninstall it or show some details about it. The details window shows the program's size, the installation date and usage.

When you click on the "uninstall" button, the application's uninstall wizard will be launched and all you have to do is click on "next" a few times. There is a search function that allows you to find an application by typing a few characters of its name. It is really a very easy and intuitive way to find the applications that you want to get rid of.

There are a couple of things where I think Uninstall Expert has missed the point. The first of them is that you can't seem to select multiple applications at once. If I wanted to uninstall a single application, I would really go to the control panel. The other thing is that whenever you are done uninstalling a program, you are taken to the beginning of the list, so you have to scroll down the list once more. It is not a big deal when you have just a few apps installed, but it does get frustrating when you have a huge list. On the other hand, I like that Uninstall Expert has a search feature, and that it scans the registry after uninstallation to see if there are any remnants of your now-gone apps to delete.
